Put the popcorn [Make a pot shape with the left arm; wiggle the right hand fingers over pot]
In a pot [Put the right hand in the “pot”]
Sizzle, sizzle, sizzle. [Put both palms up, close together, and move hands back and forth]
When we hear [Put right index finger on right earlobe]
The first one pop, [Hold right index finger out to show “first”]
Giggle, giggle, giggle! [Put both hands on mouth]
Listen, listen, can you hear? [Cup hands to ears]
Will the popping ever stop? [Use hands (or whole bodies) to imitate popcorn popping]
Drizzle butter on the top [Make the left fingers into a pinch and swirl hand around, as if pouring]
Sprinkle salt [Hold a pretend salt shaker and shake it (either hand)]
And eat it up![Alternate hands up and down fast, as if munching]
